The North-East Commodity Association (NECAS) is a registered corporate entity with the Corporate Affairs Commission under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA)1990. It is involved in services relating to agriculture and human capacity development across the North-East region of Nigeria (ie Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe States). Since its establishment in 2018, the Association has expanded its scope of activities especially through the Federal Government/Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Anchor Borrowers’ Programme (ABP), mechanisation drive, partnerships with development agencies, etc.
